Although Clambaked is a low budget production, many of the key individuals involved with the film have a professional background in motion picture special effects. The film, therefore, benefits from the talents of these craftsmen.

Five-time Oscar winner Rick Baker has agreed to use his company, Cinovation Studios, to create the alien and robot effects.

Monster Mecanix is creating the various robots, the clam, and the film's miniatures.

Special effects supervision will be in the capable hands of Bill Sturgeon.
